Veena Malik celebrated Diwali with Rama Rao

Controversy Queen Veena Malik celebrated Diwali with the director of her debut Telugu movie Rama Rao at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
“Diwali is a festival of light and colour, I am very happy to celebrate Diwali with Rama Raoji. It’s fun to light Diyas, crackers, fuljhadi and rockets. As it’s my second diwali I love to share this moment with all my fans,” said the sizzling actress.
On this occasion, Veena Malik offered Lakshmi puja (worship of a Hindu Goddess Maa Lakshmi) and prayed for her wealth and success.
Her forthcoming Telugu movie titled Nagna Satyam was launched on Sunday. The movie is directed by Rama Rao and produced by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao.

“I love seeing lights all around me. Hyderabad looks like a lovely bride during Diwali. And it’s great to see people finally taking time off from their hectic lives in this fast-paced city to enjoy some time with dear ones”, added Veena, who got fame in India after her stint on ‘Bigg Boss 4′.
Nagna Satyam, which is expected to release in theatres in the mid of 2013, is Veena Malik’s second south film apart from performing in a Kannada movie – Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga –.
Since her entrance to the Indian cinema with the Hindi movie Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai, Veena Malik has managed to hog the public eye with her raunchy, topless & over-the-top done-to-death antics. But she said Nagna Satyam does not deal with the sex but addresses contemporary issues.
Her upcoming Hindi movies include Mumbai 125 KM 3D and Zindagi 50-50.

Veena says she dressed as required for the character in 'Supermodel'

Veena Malik has said that the look and dressing sported in her next film Supermodel was “required for the character”.
She says the film explores the glamour world, but the actress insists that it also has an emotional touch.
“There is going to be lot of emotion in it. It is a fashion and glamour-related film, but you will also see a lot of emotions in it. So whatever the clothes I am wearing and the kind of look I am sporting, it is a part of the film and was required for the character,” she added.
Veena, who shot a saucy photoshoot for the movie Sunday, promises much more than glamour in the movie.
“When it comes to the concept of Supermodel, then it’s naturally lot of glamour, fashion and such things that come to your mind. Of course, I would say this is the requirement of the character, but when it comes to Supermodel, it is a complete entertaining film with all the essential elements,” Veena said.
Supermodel stars Veena’s former beau Ashmit Patel opposite her.

Veena Malik removed from Hero TV’s Astagfaar Show

After the extreme reaction and cry over Social media, Veena Malik has finally been removed from Hero TV’s Ramadan special show Astagfaar, reported The News Tribe.

Veena malik, who was hired by Hero TV for hosting a religious show Astagfaar, is now reportedly removed from the show. Since the promo of Astagfaar went out, it had raised many eye brows in the country. Veena who is popular with her bold photoshoots and item numbers songs, was considered a totally “bad choice for a religious show”.
The news report quoting the Express Media official tells that it was confirmed that the bold actress had been removed from the program. It is still unclear though, whether the removal came into effect after the reaction of general public or after PEMRA took notice of lodge complaints and an online petition that was filed against the show.
