Pakistan enjoys a variety of politicians and different flavours of
politics, creating a real mess within the country. No matter how much
games the existing politicians play, its only the citizens of the
country who suffers the most. Although the Country had has been a bad
phases since a long time, Imran Khan, A Cricketer-turned-Politician
seems a new hope for the youth of the country. However, According to the
latest reports, Imran, along with his followers have recieved a threat
on an open forum, that is none other than FACEBOOK!
Imran Khan-and-The Journey
Imran Khan appeared on screen as an all
rounder Cricketer, who made The entire country proud on himself with his
flawless performance. His successes were evident. Imran Khan took the
lead as the Pakistani Captain and the same year, he brought the Cricket
World Cup, home, which is unfortunately the first and the last time up
till now.
Showing his soft corner for the
suffering ones, he established a trust hospital, fighting against
cancer. Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is
still one of the best service provider in the field of medicine.
Soon Imran found a strong urge in
himself to join Politics and came up with his own Party,
Tehreek-e-Insaaf, which was unable to secure more than 1 seat in the
parliament, nearly for 10 years. However, 2011 turned out to be a
turning point for the political party where the youth of the country
found Imran as the only hope of the survival.
Imran Khan- The Movie
Observing the interest that the
youngsters have shown in the celebrity or politician(say whatever you
wish to), it was decided to make a film on his life, from the journey
that he started from the pitch that brought him to the parliament. The
movie is featured on some real facts, starring Abdul Mannan and Saeeda
Imtiaz.
The Threats
As the news of this movie penetrated
in the social media, rumours took the control as expected. It was on
Facebook that the hot talk started. A “well-wisher” threatened the stars
of the film to move back from the movie or that would be life
threatening.
While telling the actual scenario to the FIA Team, Mannan said:
“We ignored it. But then more and more threatening posts were made, some of them mentioning where we had been.” ‘Well Wisher’ also threatened to kill Imran Khan and various other people and surprisingly, also claimed that he was the one who murdered Benazir Bhutto.
Because of the unfortunate death
threats, the film makers had to reach a decision of not shooting the
Hyderabad rally of the cricketer-turned-singer. As far as ‘Well Wisher’
is concerned, NR3C is currently searching the person behind the Facebook
ID. In all this, Imran Khan seems silent to make a comment on it or
take the matter seriously. Let us see How the movie turns out to be and
what actually happens to Mr. Well-Wisher in the coming days.
