Shaista Wahidi NOT To Marry Shakeel-Ur- Rehman:Geo Takes Action!

It seems like Shaista Wahidi and Geo TV are no more ready for further controversies and are now found speaking about the realities that were kept all disclosed. We recently shared much about Shaista’s (A Morning TV Host on Geo TV) divorce with her husband and also spoke out loud about her reactions about the rumours that the social media is propagating about. It was heard few days back that shaista would now be marrying the owner of Geo TV, Mr. Mir Shakeel-Ur- Rehman. Not only the social Media, but in fact the entire online world was hit with it and her fans were all shocked on the news.  The rumours prevailed more, creating real image problems for both the parties and finally Shakeel Ur Rehman took an action.

Giving a real hard answer to these rumours, the CEO of Jung Group, Shakeel took a legal action against all the blogs and Sites that highlighted this false news. On behalf of Mr Rahman, the legal notices for defamation were served to various Pakistani Blogs by Karachi Based commercial law firm, Ahmed and Qazi. The notices were served to the domain name owners, with their contact whois details. The notices just didn’t ask for the removal of defamatory content, but also asked to disclose any proof of the stories published on the alleged websites. That is just not all! The legal notice demands alleged websites to publish an apology on all mediums, i.e blog/website/fanpage, at which the defamatory content was posted.

Not only this, but the the plentiff 1 has also demanded Rs. 1 Billion from the bloggers as a compensation money for the disgrace that these fake news have brought to his image. However, the Online media in Pakistan is really not worried about the action as there are still many sites that are way too stubborn in deleting the fake posts.

Shaista Wahidi Soon to Marry Shakeel-ur-Rehman-Geo TV Owner!

Going back few months before, it was seen that Shaista Wahidi, The current Host of Geo Tv’s Morning show, gained a lot of limelight for the ups and downs in her marital life that finally landed up in getting her divorced from her former husband, Waqar Wahidi.

While the entire industry was all shocked with the news, Shaista remained silent on the note, making people further curious about the real issues that forced her to take such a step with three children from the marriage. Recently it was also seen that finally Shaista broke out her silence and addressed her viewers, openly talking about her rights of privacy. She also advised her followers, not to interfere too much in the lives of celebrities.

Shaista Wahidi Addresses The On Going Controversies

Finally Shaista Wahidi decided to come out of the closet and address the issue of all the on going rumors about her private life, including the divorce and the affair, in her morning show. Dr. Shaista uploaded the video on her facebook page as well, which shows that she wants to send the message across to everyone. She did not tell her fans exactly what is going on in her private life because she does not think that it is something that she needs to share with her fans. This raises a very important question; do celebrities have the right to lash out on public like this? There is a price that every celebrity must pay for fame and stardom, they get paid triple the amount that any normal worker would and they get fame like no one else does and the price they have to pay for it in return is that they become “public” figures, which means that the public wants to know and have a say about everything that is going on in their life.Dr. Shaista said the rumors are having a negative effect on her personal life, that is very understandable but when she entered the field she should have known that people who are famous do get involved in controversies and people do gossip about them because there is a natural fascination and curiosity attached to these people. But most celebrities want their piece of cake and eat it too. They only want the fame and fortune with no strings attached.

A celebrity must know how to take the good with the bad, she was right in addressing the issue but the way she did it was wrong. She should have requested the people nicely to stop spreading “rumors” about her. If she is really divorced, she should tell the public, there is nothing wrong with that and people have a right to know. Until she confirms her divorce, people will keep on guessing and spreading rumors. It is very natural to be curious about someone who you see on your TV screen everyday.

We were all wondering what could have been the reason behind Shaista’s divorce and the cat may finally be out of the bag. Reliable sources have reported that Shaista Lodhi is going to get married to Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, who is the owner of GEO TV. Sources are also reporting that this is going to be Shaista’s third marriage because she was also married once before getting married to her ex husband.
