Founder of the much appreciated Vinod Chopra Films, Vidhu Vinod Chopra
is one of the most prolific and well-renowned names in Bollywood. With
films such as the good old Munna bhai duology and 3 Idiots, the producer
can do no wrong while feeling confident about his upcoming projects. As
of late, news have spread that the 60-year old veteran is interested in
hiring the women who made the audience shed a tear by portraying as the
troubled Zainab in Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Bol’, Humaima Malick.
The upcoming film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra is titled
‘Chithiyaan’ and will be directed by Tanuja Chandra. The story is based
upon the producer’s personal life as it will portray his relationship
with late wife Renu Saluja and the latter’s with Indian film director
Sudhir Mishra. To spice things up, the producer’s relationship with
Mishra will also be portrayed.
Other than Humaima Malick starring in the film, Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided to cast Sharman Joshi as one of the two leading male actors. The other one is yet to be decided but hopefully, the veteran producer will soon reach a decision and in a matter of time make it a public knowledge.
