Little Miss Jihad Controversies On Zindagi Gulzar Hai

As we know that Zindagi Gulzar Hai is a famous novel of renowned writer Umera Ahmed. Her plays are religious and inspiring. But from few days, Umera Ahmed’s great writings affected by controversies when they go on air. When Shehr-e-Zaat on air, the scene of Falak performing ablution (wadhu) and many other such careless mistakes when she turned towards religion were came under scrutiny by many people.
Now Ayesha Omer’s appearance in the latest Episode of HumTV‘s popular Drama series ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai‘has stirred quite a controversy these days. The T-Shirt that she wore read “Little Miss Jihad” with an image of a burqa clad, bomb strapped cartoon girl
Second episode of Zindagi Gulzar Hai is well rounded except for Ayesha Omer, she is no doubt the weakest link. In this episode, as the last one; she fails to make an impression the viewers and what’s worse is that in one scene she was wearing a very impertinent and ridiculous T-shirt. It showed a burqa-clad woman wearing a bomb and she was on, seemingly a suicide mission. On it was written “Little Miss Jihad”. It was aggravating, to say the least, why did no one take any notice of the wardrobe?? Could she not find anything else to wear, except for that controversial shirt?
People disliked it because the concept of jihad is very sacred to us and while we tolerate and somewhat accept all the modern wear in our dramas wholeheartedly but not make fun of our religion. Actors should think a great deal before wearing and acting something that is bound to give controversies. Such mistakes leave a bad impact on people and hurt people’s feelings.
