Bal Thackeray Opposes Pakistan’s Tour To India

New Delhi: 
Destructive group of Shiv Sena in India is totally against the Pakistan’s cricket team tour to India which is in the very next month of 2012. This tour has two T20 international and three One-day international between the arch-rivals. According to media reports, Shev Sena leader Bal Thackeray criticized the government of Manmohan Singh. Former Indian cricketers Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar have also partially opposed the Pakistan tour of India. Mr Thackeray also said that to allow Pakistan cricketers to play in India is an insult of martyred jawan which died in Mumbai terror attack of 2008 and the 2001 Parliament attack. Sena also dug up the pitch in Oct 1991 at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium to protest against the Pak-Indo match. It is expected that high profile security will be given to Pakistan cricket team as Shiv Sena group may try to attacks Pakistan team.

Arif Lohar to Take a New Turn In India

Arif Lohar, a man with his extremely unique vocals and one of the living legends of Pakistan has created a niche for himself in the international global music. The son of legend Alam Lohar, Arif has carried on his family tradition –all the way to India Boulevard. He re-emerged with the song Jugni with a modern sound smashing and hit the world. After the huge success of his song and its additions to the bollywood movie “Cocktail”, Pakistani punjabi folk singer is engrossed to work with our neighbour country to facilitate a chance of being acknowledged even more so.

Without a doubt Arif Lohar is an escalating heavyweight in Pakistan’s Sufi music scene. After he sang a song for the Bollywood movie ‘Agent Vinod’ shared his experience saying:

“Honestly speaking I was very excited when I was offered to sing in a Bollywood movie. It felt good to know that people appreciate my style and want to hear more of it. Bollywood has been exploring lot of artists from Pakistan like Atif Aslam , Rahat Fateh Ali, Ali Zafar and many others and I feel proud when I watch them.”

After being paid by an overpowering response from foreign-based music lovers, he articulates that “Sur (tunes) is the only language that music understands, which brings a sense of peace with it”.

Discussing about the up-and-coming musicians and singers, Lohar said:

“Fresh talent always manages to make way to fame. The music that is being made nowadays is good because every voice has something special and eventually gets its due recognition.”

Arif is seeking innovative turns in India now. The report said that he got offers from the bollywood for 12 years but he incessantly refused the offers. But from then he would record the songs in Pakistani studios and would get final touch in the Indian studios with latest technology.

Arif who usually sings Sufi songs and qawwalis with a native musical instrument called tong (chimta) said passionately: “I have my own distinctive style. I feel that every artist should have their own signature. I feel proud that Pakistani artists have made a mark globally, be it India or abroad and that they have now reached a point where they are recognised the world over. I feel very happy when people recognise me as ‘Dum gutgoo’ singer. I think my sufi kalaam became popular at a time when it was needed most.”

A person’s musician like Arif Lohar will have no tribulations finding his audience there and anywhere. In the course of such societal deals the enjoyment sectors of both the nations could benefit awfully. Arif Lohar will create a perfect combination of both citizen Indian and Pakistani music technological innovation.

Adnan Sami to Seek Permission from RBI to buy a flat in India!

India is becoming one of the advancing media telescopes, attracting the celebrities all over the world, especially in Pakistan, Where celebrities are trying all their lucks by migrating to boost their showbiz career. Although this has become a new trend these days, there has been found strong urge in the Pakistani Artists since years. A good example to quote here is Adnan Sami Khan.

Adnan Sami who do not need an introduction and is a legend to the music industry even to the Indians, digging into their hearts with his splendid music and lyrics as he has had been playing in the field since last 13 years as a Mumbai singer, finally, he has decided to choose India out of three countries (Canada, India and Pakistan) to live, but it is not easy to get what you want especially if that is India. So what is so difficult in that? What is it that does not allow him to live in India even 13 years service to land?

Adnan Sami Khan is been living as a foreign citizen and working in India, but even after years of hard work given to the country, he has to plea the Delhi High Court to get him the clearance from Reserve Bank of India to let him buy a flat in DLF Capital Greens due to the Act of Foreign Exchange Management Act(FEMA), 1999, which do not allow certain nationalists, especially Pakistanis to own a property in India, without RBI prior permission.  He is been giving services to the community not only that he even sung a World Cup Cricket song for the Indian team.

By looking at the injustice done to him Justice Rajiv Shakdher issued the notice to Finance Ministry and RBI and is looking forward to their response towards the appeal by February 28, 2013. The matter is now also been supported by solicitor general Rajeeve Mehra and standing council Sumeet Pushkarna who are providing a helping hand and surity to him to get the clearance from the government as soon as they can.

We wish Adnan to settle the dispute and come to a negotiation with Indian government and have a happy dream home.

India Beats Pakistan Again: ICC T20 World Cup 2012 Updates

Since the partition of Sub-continent, India and Pakistan has had always been touchy about the cricket matches they have had been playing, which often turns into a game-cum-battle for both of the nations. After facing each other in the World Cup 2012’s semi Final, both the teams are now again sharing the same pitch in the ICC T20 World Cup 2012.

The match started with Pakistan winning the toss and chose to bat.  While all the Pakistanis were all waiting to beat India this team, they were highly shocked when the wickets started to go down within the first  5 overs when Hafeez, Imran Nazir, along with Shahid Afridi lost their wickets contributing  only 49 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. One after another, all the wickets went down, setting a target of 129 runs for India, with a run rate of 6.51.

Although the results were quite expected after the first innings, Pakistani team looked determined to make it possible through their bowling and strong fielding.

The 2^nd innings started with Gambhir and Sehwag as openers and Pakistan’s well fielded strategy helped them to get India’s first wicket down in the first over. However, Sehwag and Kohli’s partnership sustained and within 12 overs of the match, India needed 45 runs from 47 balls.

 It was in 17^th over that India finally dropped its second wicket with a score of 110, where it needed 19 runs from 30 balls. India once again succeeded in beating Pakistan in the ICC T20 world cup 2012.

Pakistan, however still secures a safe place in T20 WorldCup, lets see what the coming days bring for this team,

Imran Abbas Out From His Bollywood Debut Movie, Naam Hai Boss!

Despite of the disputes that two countries always had have, Pakistani actors have found desperate to work in Bollywood. Recently it was heard that Katrina put down a Pakistani offer of Rs. 25 Million for a movie, giving a sign that Bollywood actors have no interest in working in the Pakistani film industry. On the contrary, Great artists like Himayun Saeed, Michaal Khan, Javed Akhtar, etc have been doing small roles in the Bollywood. Another name that was about to be added in the list was of the Pakistani Model-turned-actor Imran Abbas who was disappeared from the screen for an offer that was made to him from
 Bollywood, which is now off for him.

Imran Abbas was offered to play the role of Prithviraj, opposite Akshay for Ashwin Varde’s Movie, “Naam Hai Boss”. This offer was accepted by the actor but now he is no longer a part of the project. It has become a habit of the Indian Artists to disgrace artists of Pakistan by first inviting them and then leaving them nowhere but with a controversy. According to the insiders of the movie, Imran is accused of not following the terms and conditions that he initially signed and that was the reason that his first Bollywood debut project finally ended for him.

“Imran didn’t sign up for any film. If he had, the makers would have had all the right to fire him But he only auditioned. I don’t understand how any contract can stop you from auditioning for random films.” Currently, Ayushmann Khurrana and Arjun Kapoor are being considered for the role. “They need a replacement soon as Akshay will start shooting immediately after returning from Muscat and Oman (where he is shooting for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2),”

The news is still in jeopardy within the Pakistani media whether to portray this deceive as a rumor or a spice as Imran Abbas himself is found unavailable for commenting about it.

The Movie is expected to be release somewhere later in the coming year, but this has made clear one thing for sure that Pakistani Artists should now stop looking forward for the offers coming from the neighboring country because, such offers are only making their stable career suffer within the country, bringing no good from the host country.

Let us see what the coming days bring for Imran, but it can really be hoped that due to his strong fan following, Pakistani media would turn out to be a generous one to give him some better projects to re-establish his career within his country.
