Mobile Phone Service in Pakistan will go Suspended on 25th January 2013


Islamabad: According to the media, the mobile phone service will be suspended in Pakistan on 24 to 25th January 2013 (from tonight). Muslim world is Celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Therefore the people will gather on several places for Mehfil-e-Zikar and Mehfil-e-Naat. To reduce the caution of terror, the mobile phones will remain off on the day of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi.
On 12 Rabi ul Awwal, the mobile phone operators have received the orders to suspend the mobile phone service in Pakistan. This is all to avoid any awful happening on the holy day. Mobile phone networks will jam the signals in all over the Pakistan or some major cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Multan.
Pillion riding will also remained banned on the day of 12th Rabiul Awwal in Rawalpindi. The government has sent the orders to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for quick implementation and close the mobile phone signals from tonight till tomorrow. Government has also issued the orders to law enforcement agencies to monitor the terror activity, so that no unhappy incident could take place in any part of the country.
